Each topic has a mastery estimate from 0 to 100%, shown as a coloured bar: Needs work, Patchy, Building, Nearly there, and Exam ready. The colour tells you at a glance where a topic stands. The number can go down on its own, and that is intended: memory fades, so the bar slowly drops between sessions to reflect that you would score lower today than you did right after revising. When it dips, that topic moves up the revision queue. Only full mastery sessions can take a topic all the way to green (exam ready); Quick Practice keeps it warm but caps out below that.
